Tailored Solutions

Who We Are

We are RIMANT, the local wastewater recycling and storage specialists.

Family-owned and operated, RIMANT has been in the wastewater treatment industry for 30 years. In 1992, we launched BioSeptic, and we have been designing, manufacturing and servicing aerated wastewater treatments since then.

In 2005, we introduced Sydney Water Tanks, offering premium underground water tanks. Constructed from concrete, these solutions offer longevity and discretion, ideal for many commercial and household purposes.

Our experience in these constructions brought about the launch of ConForce, supplying high-quality concrete reinforced fibres to the building industry.

Wastewater

In the driest continent in the world, re-use of water is a vital step towards environmental balance. The Directors of BioSeptic asked, “why spend money disposing of household sewage, a waste product, when such a valuable resource can be recycled and re-used?”

In the past, water has been undervalued therefore strategies involving water reuse have not been developed fully. The challenge was to use treated effluent in a manner that will result in a sustainable environment.

Solution

To develop a solution, BioSeptic used a variety of scientific consultants and university resources to design a domestic aerated wastewater treatment system (AWTS).

The result, the BioSeptic AWTS which skillfully uses natures own biological processes to reduce the harmful characteristics of household sewage and wastewater and recycle it as safe, odourless water for re-use in the garden.
